Gary Monheit, MD
is associate professor in the department of dermatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. He is a fellow of The American Academy of Dermatology, The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, The American Association of Liposuction Surgeons, American Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, among others. He was President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery 2001 and serves on the board of directors.
His present clinical research interests include:
