George J. Hruza, MD
is Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology and Otolaryngology at St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He is the director of the Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center in St. Louis where he directs an ACMMSCO approved dermatologic surgery fellowship training program. He received his medical degree from New York University in 1982 and his MBA from Washington University in 1998. His training has included internship at New York Hospital, dermatology residency at New York University Medical Center, laser surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School (Wellman Laboratories), and Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Dr. Hruza is a Diplomate of the American Boards of Dermatology, Laser Surgery, and Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. He serves on 6 journal editorial boards including that of Archives of Dermatology, Lasers in Surgery and Medicine and Dermatologic Surgery and has been a panel member of the NIH study section on lasers. He has served on the Board of Directors of the ACMMSCO and AADS and currently serves on the Board of the ASLMS. He has authored more than 100 articles and book chapters.
